With 32 BMX racers competing for the chance at Olympic Gold, it is no wonder our top Senso New Heroes would garner a fairly strong seeding. After Maris Strombergs placed seventh and David Herman placing eleventh respectively, positioned them in Heat four and three for the quarter-finals.
As the defending Olympic gold medalist, Maris Strombergs knew the importance of qualifying early by grasping the lowest amount of points after the third run in the quarter-finals to progress to the semi-finals.
Still taking in Olympic nerves, David started off slow, but pulled it together after the fifth run to follow his Free Agent/Rockstar and New Hero teammate into the semi-final round.
Today, both our Senso New Heroes will aim for Gold in the semi-final round that will be taking place at 15:08 p.m. with a quick turnaround for the Final at 16:40 p.m. Tune in and cheer on our New Heroes as they seek Gold in London 2012!!!!
