The 2026 “Belt and Road” Countries Diplomatic Cycling Series (Xingtai Stop) officially commenced on June 14 in Xingtai, Hebei Province. The VELO-sponsored XDS (Xidesheng) Men’s Cycling Team secured both the Men’s Team Road Race title and the Men’s Individual Road Race championship, becoming the biggest winner of the event.

The event attracted diplomatic representatives from more than 40 countries, international students, and cycling enthusiasts, fostering international exchange through cycling. The race route connected Xingtai’s urban greenways and major scenic roads, allowing riders to experience the city’s landscape and natural environment while competing.

As global cycling continues to grow in popularity, the sport has become not only an important symbol of a healthy lifestyle, but also an increasingly significant platform for international exchange and urban development.
